Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Hotpoint Refrigerator.
Regular Cleaning
Ensure the external and internal parts of the refrigerator, as well as the rubber seals, are cleaned using a sponge soaked in lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda or neutral soap. This prevents the accumulation of dirt and maintains hygiene.
Switching Off During Maintenance
During cleaning and maintenance, disconnect the appliance from electricity by pressing the FREEZER OPERATION Button and SUPER FREEZE Button for 3 seconds, then pull the plug out of the socket.
Avoiding Overloading
Do not fill the appliance with too much food. Allow cold air to circulate freely for proper food preservation and to prevent the compressor from working continuously.
Proper Food Storage
Make sure to cover or seal food properly to avoid unpleasant odors and stains. Do not store liquids in open containers to prevent increased humidity and condensation.
Door Management
Try to avoid keeping the door open for long periods or opening it too frequently to conserve energy and maintain the internal temperature.
